Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars should announce the hiring of Mike Sheppard, receivers coach for four seasons of the Cincinnati Bengals as the new quarterback coach. Sheppard has coached at Idaho State where he played in the current program of the Jaguars offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter. In the NFL, Sheppard was also offensive coordinator with Chargers (97-98), Bills
(01) and Saints
(05) and quarterbacks coach again with the Saints in 2002-2005, and with the Seahawks in the period 1999-2000. For the Jaguars is the 3rd quarterback coach in less than a month: Sheppard's team hires to replace Todd Monken, who returned to college as offensive coordinator for Oklahoma State.
