Who is responsible:
The benefit is due if the employee can claim:
• seniority for unemployment insurance for at least two years (Must hold, ie, at least a weekly contribution paid before the two years preceding the year in which compensation is sought): for example, for fees paid in 2009, the contribution must have been accredited by the end of 2006;

How
For the first 120 days, the daily allowance can not exceed 35% of the average daily wage (the percentage rose to 40% for subsequent periods), subject to a maximum gross monthly € 858, 58, increased to € 1,031.93 for workers who may rely on a gross monthly salary exceeding € 1,857.48.
The allowance may be paid by bank transfer or post office or at any branch of any post office in the country, for a period corresponding to the days actually worked during the previous year, and for a period not exceeding 180 days.
In the case of credit in bank account or post office must also indicate the identification of the agency at which they will collect the performance and the full IBAN code and account number.
When to apply: Applications must be submitted to INPS
